Hiking The Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail is Tubac’s signature hiking experience, linking the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park with Tumacácori National Historical Park. The trail is mostly flat but does include a few river crossings. Because there is no shuttle, hikers planning a one-way trip should leave a car at their destination. Submit Art Inspires Join the Celebration of Tubac’s Art and Culture The village is home to a variety of art galleries that feature diverse mediums, from traditional painting and sculpture to contemporary photography, pottery, and jewelry. Alongside its thriving arts scene, Tubac boasts cultural landmarks such as the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and the nearby Tumacácori National Historical Park. The Tubac Center of the Arts (TCA) TCA is a member–supported nonprofit organization with multiple galleries, a lecture and performing arts series, a gift shop representing local and regional artists, youth programs, and adult art workshops at the Tubac School of Fine Art, the adult education division of TCA. The center is open to the public and admission is always FREE.
