The Tubac Community Center Originally constructed in 1964 as a neighborhood school, the building now known as the Tubac Community Center first came to life in 1999 from the efforts of community minded residents, prompting a visionary response by the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors. Today your Center hosts a diverse and dynamic user community that has experienced a 3-fold increase in the past few years. The Tubac Historical Society Now over 50 years old, the THS was conceived in the fall of 1966 by concerned citizens who wanted to save the Old Tubac Schoolhouse, which had been built in 1885. “By organizing THS, its founders not only saved the schoolhouse, which is now located on the grounds of the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and Museum but also established a viable historical society. The Rotary Club of Tubac The Rotary Club of Tubac meets weekly, each Friday at 7:30am in Stables Ranch Grille at the Tubac Golf Resort and Spa. Each April they host the Taste of Tubac fundraiser to benefit our local community. Border Community Alliance The Border Community Alliance (BCA) is a ten-year-old non-profit organization based in Tubac, AZ.
