The site of the first permanent European settlement in Arizona, the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and Museum features historic buildings, a museum with exhibits covering 2,000 years of extraordinary Southwest history, an art gallery, and ruins of the Spanish fort built in 1752. Stroll through our eight beautiful gardens, and enjoy a picnic lunch in our mesquite tree grove adjacent to the historic Anza Trail. Furry friends are welcome!
