Tubac Presidio Park and Museum

Enjoy the quintessential Southwest experience at Arizona’s birthplace. The site of the first permanent European settlement in Arizona, the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and Museum features historic buildings, a museum with exhibits covering 2,000 years of extraordinary Southwest history, an art gallery, and ruins of the Spanish fort built in 1752. Stroll through our eight beautiful gardens, and enjoy a picnic lunch in our mesquite tree grove adjacent to the historic Anza Trail. Furry friends are welcome!

The Tubac Presidio State Historic Park and Museum is operated by the Friends of the Tubac Presidio and Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit working in partnership with Arizona State Parks and Trails.

1 Burruel Street, Tubac, AZ 85646-1296
