




Tubac Nature Center
Established in 2019, the Tubac Nature Center (TNC) has been dedicated to providing environmental education and recreation, with a special emphasis on preserving the nearby Santa Cruz River ecosystem. Offering a variety of activities including weekly bird walks and hikes, nature walks, nature science classes for children, the Annual March Hawk Watch, Dark Sky outings, expert lectures, and other educational events, TNC is committed to fostering a deeper understanding of the natural world. With an all-volunteer staff managing the center and assisting in various activities, TNC ensures visitors can learn about nature and appreciate the Santa Cruz River ecosystem.
Tubac Nature Center is incorporated under Arizona law and holds 501(c)(3) charitable organization status under Federal tax law. TNC takes pride in collaborating with the Anza Trail Coalition and Friends of the Santa Cruz River to collectively work towards the preservation of the river environment.
