Tubac Fire District serves a 160-square-mile area of Santa Cruz County, providing fire suppression, emergency medical services, and public education to Amado, Carmen, Tumacacori, Tubac, and large areas of Rio Rico, including local schools. Four strategically located fire stations serve the district, with at least one paramedic on duty 24 hours a day. Established in 1974, the Tubac Fire District has proudly served the community for nearly 50 years.
