Tannahill Weavers (Celtic music from Scotland) One of Scotland's premier traditional bands. Their diverse repertoire spans the centuries with fire-driven instrumentals, topical songs, and original ballads and lullabies. Their music demonstrates to old and young alike the rich and varied musical heritage of the Celtic people. These versatile musicians have received worldwide accolades consistently over the years for their exuberant performances and outstanding recording efforts that seemingly can't get better...yet continue to do just that. The concert will take place at the Tubac Plaza Main Stage next to the “Out Of The Way Galleria” at 29 Tubac Plaza in Tubac, Arizona. All ages welcome. ADMISSION: Ages 12 & up - $20 advance / $23 day of show; Ages 6-11 - $10 advance / $12 day of show; 5 & under – Free. Vintage cars are among those to be featured in the Car
Nuts' upcoming show in Tubac. All are owned by club members.
A donation will get you in to view the cars to help with
their fund raiser for local youths.
Every
February the Tubac Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor
the Tubac Festival of the Arts. The major
event of the year for Tubac showcases the work of hundreds
of visiting artists, craftpersons and musicians from around
the country and Canada. Painters and sculptors share the
streets with whimsical sculptures and New Age music, and
the food court brings a delightful variety of ethnic treats.
ArtWalk
is an annual event that invites visitors to explore the
local working artist studios and fine art galleries for which Tubac is renowned.
Tubac
Presidio State Historic Park presents Anza Day, A Living History of the Indian,
Mexican and Spanish Colonial Periods. Enjoy
historical re-enactments, period costumes, folklorico dancers, mariachi music
and children's activities!
Tubac,
An Art Experience brings visitors up close and
personal with the artists of Tubac. During this November
event, artists create works right before visitors’ eyes
throughout a weekend that celebrates the artistic process.
Local musicians entertain guests while artists provide
demonstrations of their works that capture their imagination.
Luminaria Nights~Fiesta de Navidad is Tubac's
annual celebration of the Holiday Season! The streets
are lined with luminaries and the stores are open until
nine p.m.
